Job Description:

The role of a Business Development Manager is to assist the organization's sales and growth
efforts by contributing to new customer acquisition. He/she should be able to provide ideas
to attract new clients and keep senior management updated about marketplace and
competitor activity.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor effective implementation of International Business Development/International sales activities.
  • Manage the entire cycle from Lead Generation to closure of the deal.
  • Plan and execute business campaigns using various communication mediums like email marketing, social media, etc.
  • Analyze business strategies and devise improvement plans for sustainable growth.
  • Oversee all business development processes, ensuring compliance with government policies and regulations.
  • Assist businesses in identifying opportunities and crafting strategic plans for enhancement.
  • Analyze current business performance and forecast future prospects.
  • Handle all customer communication and foster strong relationships.
  • Identify and map business strengths to match client needs.
  • Manage sales pipeline, forecast monthly sales, and explore new business opportunities.
  • Develop pricing strategies tailored to customer budgets and procurement methods.
  • Evaluate market trends and provide support for product development initiatives.

Knowledge and Experience

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Business Development within the IT industry, particularly in software service provider companies.
  • Proven track record of working with US-based clients and achieving success in both B2B and B2C sales activities.
  • Proficient in soft skills such as negotiation, convincing, and presentation.
  • Comprehensive understanding of IT industry trends, related technologies, and SDLC processes relevant to the Business Development Manager role.
  • Technical proficiency in handling bidding portals like LinkedIn, Upwork, PPH, Fiverr, etc.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's or Bachelor's degree in Business Management.
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field would be advantageous and add value to the role.

Desired Skills

  • Hands-on experience with CRM systems is advantageous.
  • Strong customer service skills with a focus on client satisfaction.
  • Ability to create compelling presentations and negotiate effectively.
