Role Overview
We are seeking a Manager – Software Engineering to lead both enterprise technology delivery and engineering team management within our consulting practice.
This remote role requires client-facing engagement in the US market. The ideal candidate is a hands-on technical leader who can:
- Architect and deliver complex enterprise solutions
- Lead and grow engineering teams
- Drive structured execution across multiple workstreams
- Align technical decisions with financial and business outcomes
This role builds on the Senior Consultant responsibilities, with added accountability for people leadership, delivery oversight, and strategic execution.
Key Responsibilities
1. Enterprise Architecture & Delivery Leadership
- Architect and lead implementation of scalable, secure enterprise systems
- Design cloud-native solutions across modern technology stacks
- Ensure high engineering standards, scalability, and compliance
- Drive end-to-end delivery from discovery through production rollout
2. Team Leadership & Management
- Manage and mentor software engineers and consultants
- Oversee resource planning, workload balancing, and delivery forecasting
- Establish engineering best practices and quality standards
- Conduct performance evaluations and support professional development
- Build a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement
3. Client & Executive Engagement
- Serve as a trusted advisor to client technology and executive stakeholders
- Translate business objectives into structured technical roadmaps
- Present architecture and program updates to leadership
- Ensure alignment between client expectations and delivery outcomes
4. AI-Driven & Modern Engineering Practices
- Champion proactive use of AI-enabled development tools to improve efficiency
- Identify automation opportunities within client ecosystems
- Drive disciplined DevOps and continuous delivery practices
5. Business & Financial Accountability
- Evaluate architectural decisions through ROI and cost-benefit analysis
- Apply FinOps thinking to cloud and infrastructure design
- Support budget planning and financial forecasting for projects
- Understand accounting and operational workflows to guide purposeful implementation
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years of enterprise software engineering experience
- Proven experience leading engineering teams in consulting or enterprise environments
- Strong background in cloud-native architectures and modern application development
- Demonstrated experience managing multiple concurrent initiatives
- Strong executive communication and stakeholder management skills
- Experience operating in hybrid/on-site client environments
- Working knowledge of financial systems, accounting principles, or enterprise operations
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in regulated industries (financial services, insurance, healthcare)
- Strong DevOps and CI/CD implementation experience
- Experience embedding AI capabilities into enterprise systems
- Experience scaling engineering teams
